As part of the construction of the new motorway that will provide direct access to the Western Sydney International Airport at Badgerys Creek, head contractor CPB-Georgiou, engaged Antoun’s Construction to undertake the demolition and clearing of several structures at Badgerys Creek.
The work completed included:
- Surveying the structures for hazardous materials.
- Removal and disposal of hazardous materials. Namely bonded and friable asbestos.
- Air monitoring, reporting and associated clearance certificates.
- Demolition of the existing structures to ground level, including removal of footings.
- Removal of underground tanks (septic & water).
- Levelling the site area in preparation for the main road works.
