As part of The Forest High School relocation plan, The NSW Department of Education/School Infrastructure NSW engaged Antoun’s Construction to undertake the demolition of the existing McLeod House at 187 Allambie Road, Allambie Heights.
The work completed included:
- Site establishment and security.
- Removal and disposal of hazardous materials. Namely bonded and friable asbestos, lead paint and lead dust.
- Air monitoring, reporting and associated clearance certificates.
- Tree Removal & Tree Protection.
- Demolition of the existing double brick building to ground level, including removal of footings.
- Remediation of the site area
- Levelling the site area in preparation for the main works contractor
